Alfred University Scholars Nomination Form

Thank you for nominating a student for the Alfred University Scholars award.

One current junior from every high school will be eligible for this award. The selected recipient will receive $30,000 per year until graduating from Alfred University (New York State students in our SUNY Supported Art & Engineering programs will receive $18,000 per year).

Scholarship Qualifications:

Student nominees must be taking a course of study that is college preparatory in scope and have achieved an overall 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) or higher at the time of nomination
We recommend nominating a student who would be interested in programs offered by Alfred University. We have a wide variety of majors to choose from as well as opportunities to double major to increase the student's breadth of experience

Nomination Process:

Complete this nomination form including a description of why this student is “Outside of Ordinary”
Upload a transcript that reflects grades from the first half of the Junior Year as well as the classes currently in progress
We will continue to collect nominations through April 15, 2026
Decisions and awards will be sent out to schools starting in April
