How would you like to help?

There are numerous ways Alfred University Alumni have already been volunteering to help attract new students, and we are excited to have you join their ranks. Please let us know what kind of tasks you might be willing to help with as we work to bring in new AU Saxons. Some are as straightforward as sending letters or emails to prospective or accepted students, and some would involve some training with our Admissions office to help represent Alfred University at college fairs or high school events.

If you are interested in referring a potential future Alfred University student and have someone in mind, please fill out our referral form here. Each student you refer will receive a $1,000 scholarship per year while they attend Alfred University!

In addition to the areas above, we are working on instituting some new initiatives, and would love to know if you might be interested in participating.

Assist the Career Development Center and current students looking for a mentor, internship or job, reviewing resumes, and conducting mock interviews

Facilitating a relationship between AU and your graduate/professional school

Get involved with our Purple City Boards (in NYC, Washington DC, Rochester, and Buffalo)

Host an Alumni event

Promote Alfred University on Social Media

Return to campus to speak to students, faculty, and staff

Serve on the Alumni Council

Work with University Advancement to help determine locations for small gatherings in your area
